The post Vitalik Buterin Unveils Ethereum’s Future Upgrades appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News
Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin recently provided a rare update on the roadmap of Ethereum, shedding light on its progress and future plans. The Dencun upgrade, which took place on March 13, reduced the costs of layer-2 transactions and improved data availability through proto-danksharding (EIP-4844). Following this upgrade, Ethereum plans to implement The Verge and The Purge. The Verge aims to integrate stateless clients with Verkle trees, thereby lowering node costs. The Purge, on the other hand, seeks to simplify the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) by removing specific features. Buterin also highlighted the efforts being undertaken to improve Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency.
