10101.art Offers Digitized Co-ownership of Picasso, Dali, and Warhol
Art tokenization platform 10101.art is hosting a launch event on April 15 to showcase their platform that utilizes blockchain technology and legal frameworks to establish a system of collective ownership for valuable artworks.
A private networking night to celebrate the launch of 10101.art will be held at the Monada Gallery – “a relatively new gallery that’s making big waves by bridging the gap between traditional art and the modern digital world” – in Dubai’s Ritz-Carlton.
As part of a strategic partnership with Monada Art gallery, 10101.art’s team will display the original paintings to give a chance to everyone to see the famous works by Picasso, Dali, and Banksy.
Displayed art will include Picasso’s ‘Portrait of Dora Maar,’ Salvador Dali’s ‘Tree-Man with Flayed Heart,’ and Banksy’s ‘Turf War’ and ‘Choose Your Weapon,’ to name a few, the team said.
The project will also give interested individuals the chance to own pieces by Warhol and Banksy as part of an exclusive pre-sale event.
10101.art facilitates the collective ownership of iconic paintings, meaning that individuals can own shares in original artworks that are typically out of their reach in the traditional market.
Portraits of Dora Maar are one of the key series of works in the oeuvre of Pablo Piscasso.
Created in 1939-1942, ‘Tête d’une femme n°5’ showcases the depth of Picasso’s exploration into the soul of his muse, Dora Maar, through the lens of cubism.

Commenting on the project launch, Krot remarked that “we believe it’s time for a more welcoming approach to art ownership.”
10101.art is using both technology and collaboration for that to happen, she added.
