Coinbase has announced launching a new smart wallet to ease onboarding and facilitate gasless transactions to improve user experience for its clients. These next-generation wallets will address complex onboarding, network fees, and recovery phrases. Users can now create a wallet with “Face ID, Google Chrome profile, fingerprint, or Yubikey without recovery phrases. Users will be able to draw from Coinbase account balances or from their self-custodial wallet balance to facilitate transactions almost anywhere. Coin base’s wallet supports eight networks, including Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB and Zora.
